Safe how are we gonna run this?? 4 decks 2 mixers a crew on each set then 1/2 hour sets each so breakz dj, herbal mafia dj, breakz dj, herbal maf dj etc.. Just an idea ;)

Some of the best DJs and MCs from in and around York go head to head as Breakz takes on the Herbal Mafia at Cert 18 this Thursday. Cert 18 is rapidly gaining a reputation for hosting some of the best dance nights in York, and this should be no exception as we bring you the finest mix of dirty beats and rolling basslines, thumping out through the SoulSpun sound system.

We are proud to present Grinny Grandad, a fresh three piece hip-hop / breaks band that has been causing quite a stir around York recently (also featured in GTA : Liberty City Stories). Following their last acclaimed performance, DEADlock’d reunite to deliver their trademark mix of funky beats and storming basslines. After cutting up some tight breaks tunage, they take things to the next level with a suitably fat set of only the finest vinyl cuts of grinding drum and bass.

The night also features hip-hop, breakbeat and drum and bass sets from Breakz and Herbal Mafia residents Moxx, Zippy, DJ Yenz and D-Psyphar, and MCing from our own Sh!ne and Nurjam.

It's more likely than not to go ahead, as we are using the rudeboy system the next day. The only thing that could hinder it is if Pix gets held up coming home from work, but even then we'll probably use an element of his system. So I recon go for it!
