No promises, but rumour has it that Mark [Breakz, Clublands] has secured himself a half hour slot behind the (CD :huh:) decks at this Saturday's Club D. He's planning on dropping some nice dnb tunage to shake up the place. Yes, you'd have to wade through gangs of swaying, alcopop-swilling girls and gaggles of hammered, hormonal rugby players, but I'm tempted just to see what happens.

Will everyone leave?
Will people try to dance, but not quite manage and collapse into their handbags (particularly the rugby players)?
Will someone burst onto the dancefloor and start giving out glowsticks (actually, I'm tempted to do that too :))?
Will there be a complete takeover as York's dnb massiv* storm the place?

Errm, the same will happen as always happens. Most of them will go WTF?, some will absolutely love it. Just play pendulum and shnizzle and more of em will be lovin it ;)

Can we pull this off? Can we get 20-30 people down there between the Breakz and Herbal Mafia crews to storm the dancefloor when the dnb hits the speakers? It would really make my weekend. We'll bring the glowsticks.

James, Sh!ne & I are up for it if we can get the numbers. Andy L (Logic) has said he'll play in Langwith beforehand.

I'm heading down to Langwith with some decks for about 2030 anyway (Andy's DJing from 9). Really don't know if we can get enough people, but I'll ask James to bring glowsticks just in case... :)
