View Full Version : Freakin presents VECTOR LOVERS live @ The Junction, Friday 17th March
For our second JUNCTION party of the month on Friday 17th March, Freakin is once again proud to present VECTOR LOVERS.
The live electro robotik phunked up sounds of this superb producer have set the freakin dancefloor on fire everytime we've had the pleasure of hosting his set. With 2 albums under his belt for the superb SOMA RECORDS label, numerous remix credits for the likes of Slam, Alex Smoke, Tim Wright and Ladytron, plus running his own fantastic record label Iwari. This dude is on fire at the moment and after playing all over Europe is treating his home crowd once again.
There will also be underground house support from residents Rich Clark, Leo Clayton, P-Funk & Jax.
The venue as always is The Junction, Leeman Road, York.
Things kick off at 7.30pm. The door tax will be £4 or £3 for members.
You can't say fairer than that for such quality!!!
See you at the front.

End of term knees up me thinks!
Not had a chance to catch vector lovers yet despite how many times you've had them playing (always been too skint or raving in a warehouse in Manchester or sumfink). Capsule for One is one of the finest electronic albums ever and definitely the best album from last year.
Can't wait :cheesy:
Well worth checkin out Vector Lovers live
We keep gettin' him back on because his sets go down a storm.
see you on the floor.

How do the live sets differ from the album material... More banging I guess?
What time are they playing? Would like to check out High Pressure afterwards....
The live sets differ because you are dancing ona dancefloor.
But music wise, yes they are more uptempo and tweeked specially for the live set.
no 2 vector lovers gigs are the same, believe me.
excuse my ignorance but who are high pressure?
not sure what time VL will be on but it'll be later rather than not.

Yeah, expected him to notch it up a bit for a live set. Looking forward to it :)
Got my dates mixed up on the high pressure thing, they're on the Saturday. They're a dub system from Leeds, starting to do nights in the Judges Lodgings. Do some amazing parties Leeds way and they were playing at the Moor Music last year, also mates with Oli and Josh (who I'm sure you'll know). Can't make it down that Saturday though, going to Holland the next morning ;)
i'll be at freakin tomorrow - vector lovers are shit hot at the mo - best thing to come out of york for a while, apart from deadlock'd of course :D
I'm still hoping to make it down too (though been feeling pretty awful over the past couple of days).
Ill be there, wasted, most likely with one of those guiness hats on
What time are you heading down?
Dont know yet , meeting an old friend first in town and getting pissed etc. I was gonna go fairly late and go to judges beforehand but i guess as its st paddys and a good act its gonna be packed and might sell out so i dont know. Around 10-11 i guess
Txted Chris; he's heading down around 9. Gonna aim to get there soon after (I hope). See you there.
