Huge thanks to everyone who came down to the last Freakin. Yet again it was a belter with extra thanks going to MARC JAY who rocked the floor in true freakin style.
We move into March with two absolutely cracking nights for you lucky peeps. First up on Saturday March 4th Freakin presents COSMIC GROOVE TRANSMISSION. Now us freaks are really looking forward to this one. Here's a bit of info about CGT:-
"Cosmic Groove Transmission are Leigh Williamson and Phil Towers, house producers and DJ’s from Leeds.
With funked up releases on Brique Rouge, Odori, Phono Graffiti, Low Pressings, DiY, Gourmet and more, CGT are proving that you don't have to recycle tired old disco samples to stamp your own ideas on house music.
CGT’s unique sound is used and abused on discerning dancefloors across the world such as the Rex Club (Paris), Fabric, Back to Basics, Smart Bar (Chicago), Stompaphunk and Zouk (Singapore).
Reviewers have compared CGT to Green Velvet, Chicken Lips, Metro Area, Tiefschwarz and Ralph Lawson. This goes some way to describe the diversity of the CGT sound!
