Hot Electro Beats and Booty Shaking Basslines.
Friday 23rd September
The Junction, Leeman Road, York.
8pm till late
£4 entry / £3 freakin’ members
be early to avoid disappointment. I.D. may be required.
Back again with more hot electro beats and booty shaking bass-lines, The Iwari record label are very proud to welcome Peter Mangalore and Tommy Walker III, Co-defenders of the fantasy portal otherwise known as the Human Shield Record Company (the most recent 12” featuring tracks from Multiplex scheduled for release in August). Both are regulars behind the audio controls of Sequence, Manchester’s leading electro night. You can expect variety rich in electronic frequencies and dance-floor grooves, as the pair throw down the beats and fuse a range of vinyl skills and software control to create a live and totally unique experience that’ll twist your head and move your feet. As if this wasn’t enough, York’s very own B-Boys, “The Gravity Control Crew” will be treating us to more of their skills while residents Namke Communications, and Robokid take the controls and drop some serious electro breaks. Once again, a stunning mix of high quality DJ’s and live electronix along with stunning visual entertainment, makes this another night of full sensory excellence.
