Hi.
Breakz is trying to assist in the setup of the Toffs weekly d&b night again this year.
Last year it was run by DJ's ED and Tom.
However we need DJ's and we desperately need MC's.
We are currently in the early stages.
Last year went well, however the Club manager is a little reluctant to follow it on this year, as alternative music is a bit scary!!!!!!!!!!!!! hmmmmmmmmmm yes well.
In the past it has been organised by friends and connections to breakz who were not students. (Ed & Tom)
So this year we are thinking if placing the management side of the event behind the university to gain acceptance from the council etc, whilst continuing the old involvement.
As we stand we cannot approach the Manager yet as we are still collecting together a list of competent DJ's and MC's to put forward in the proposal and talking to the management from last year as it is their event.
If it passes it will probably be a weekly event, so a lot of enthusiasm and interest is needed by all you wonderful people.............
