The hottest dubstep producer / DJ in the world is making his debut in York for what promises to be one of the biggest nights York has seen in a while.

He went from making dark garage tunes with Benga at the age of 15 on Fruity Loops to being discovered by Hatcha in Croydon a few years later to being one of the pioneering forces that has changed the course of the UK underground music scene.

His music has made dubstep accessible to mainstream music media particulary with 2005 hit ‘Midnight Request Line’, his Essential mix for BBC Radio 1 in 2007 and his recent remix of La Roux’s ‘In For The Kill’.

Skream has released records on Tempa, Tectonic and Big Apple Records, he hosts a weekly radio show, Stella Sessions on Rinse FM and is probably the most well known dubstep producer in the world.
